If I could make a playlist of all favorite tweenhood songs, it would include:

Hoku- all her songs (Perfect Day, Burrito Song, Another Dumb Blonde)

And I think it's a given that NSync and Backstreet Boys and Britney Spears and Jessica Simpson can't make it on this list because I have every CD already :)

Jason vs. Jordan

Dialog between a certain husband and wife:::

Wife opens the door to the fridge and realizes there is only one piece of her yummy cookie cake left.

Wife:: Someone had some cake yesterday huh?!

Husband:: YEAH I DID!! 

Wife opens the freezer to find some ice cream. 

Wife:: Where's the ice cream?!

Husband smiles and turns his head to the side in a look-how-cute-I-am way.

Wife:: Are you serious?!?! Ughhhh....

Husband:: AND... I put whipped cream and caramel sauce on it!!

Wife:: (no response)

Husband:: I am AWESOME!!

After sitting down to indulge in my amazing triple chocolate cookie cake, I  the Wife looks up and asks my her sweet husband to get her a glass of milk. 

Husband:: Ohhhhhhhh I drank all that too! (Laughs hysterically rolling on the floor)

Wife:: (seriously) Go to Homeland and get me some milk.

Husband:: No!! You're the one who's supposed to keep the fridge stocked!! I've cleaned all weekend!!

... end of his life. 

things kids say

No I don't have children.

Yet.

BUT, one of my favorite old shows (and I mean OOOOLD) was "Kids say the darndest things". The bill cosby version, might I add. 

And apparently Heidi Klum is going to host a similar show???

We'll see how that goes. 

Anyways, I just heard some funny kid stories and want to share them. If you have some of your own kids, PLEASE share!  I just love how creative or literal kids can be!

After putting her children to bed, a mother changed into old slacks and a droopy blouse and proceeded to wash her hair. As she heard the children getting more and more rambunctious, her patience grew thin.

     At last she threw a towel around her head and stormed into their room, putting them back to bed with stern warnings.

     As she left the room, she heard her three-year-old say with a trembling voice, "Who was that?"

I REALLY need to get my act together with this whole taking a picture everyday thing! I am so bad at it! But shocker.... my life really isn't cool enough to take a picture of everyday! I know I seem so fabulous but really..... I'm not.

We couldn't stick to our fast so we gave in....helloooo pizza hut that we can see from our window.   

 

and we got cat #2. Welcome Zoe! 

Let me just explain. Cats are better in pairs. 

Leo was being a punk and couldn't control his playful biting mode soooooo Zoe is here to save the day and she's dang gorgeous and feels like a chinchilla.

So quit judging me! I'm sure you've eaten pizza or a cookie when you weren't supposed to either!!!!

I don't mean to be dramatic, but it's time to stop with justification.

Stop being a pansy. 

I love Jesus and nothing will change that.

 January 8. Cut Jennee's Hair off and become a bridesmaid!!!

You heard right! Ol' Mexican's getting married in two months and Jason and I get to join them in their big day!! Whoohoo!!

I wanted to pee my pants right there on the salon floor. She is going to be a gorgeous bride no doubt and I cannot wait to see this wedding. It's going to be very unique and so them, which, in my opinion, is the best recipe for a wedding! 

I hope everyone's 2011 is going well so far and that resolutions are being kept. Mine definitely are. 

HA!

Okay so even though my resolutions haven't been 100% so far, I am still having a great year! Learning more about God and making lattes! Can't go wrong with that combo, right?!

Looking back, moving on.

Sometimes, a break is good. 

But not in 2011!

I got my first real Oklahoma address (by my lonesome!)

I got stuck in (one of the many) blizzards

Greyson was born (our super cute nephew!)

Jason and I got married (hello.... maybe the best part?!?!)

I went on my first cruise

We purchased our first house

I became addicted to house decor.

We got our first kitty!

Jason got a job at Chesapeake and I got into hair school!

Not to mention all the people we've met along the way. 

I am so so blessed!!

2011.... can you beat twentyten?!

My BLOGGING goal for this year is to be more creative and take a picture everyday. 

Now I know no one wants to see 365 pictures of my life, but that's okay. This blog started out for me and if my mom is the only one who enjoys them, so be it :)
