After 7 calls to dang Frontier Airlines, we're booked!!!!

No, it's not the most amazing vacation on an island no one has ever been to, it's just Florida. But it's Florida and NOT Oklahoma :)

And this is what we'll be doing::

Except, minus about 30 years and some clothes, and add bathing suits and fun fruity drinks, and you got it! :)

1 more day of school for me this week.

2 days until my friends Jennee and Jonathan get married. 

4 days until Jamy gets back from St. Thomas. 
15 days until Mallory and Jordan get their Evangel booties to OkC

30+ days until I graduate hair school. 

30+2 days until we go on vacation. 

30+a week until I start my new job!

a couple years until we have babies. 

Okay I'm done. 

But I'm not going to say out loud that Jason and I talked about baby names last night. 

Or maybe it was just me and all he said was "sure" or "i dont care" or "you're not naming our babies".

Another week, another cupcake

Because I am a good wife, I did not have a picture Monday. Jason fainted for the first time in front of me and I had no earthly clue what to do. He is fine, now, but I did not stop to take a picture of that moment :)

So here's the rest of the week!

Tuesday: been drinkin a lot of these. Looooove a good iced green tea. 

Wednesday: I got my scentsy goods in! Man, I love these. 

We got Thunderstorm and Skinny dippin'! Hellooooo Summer!

 Thursday: Apparently coffee grounds are good for compost/gardens. I've started my collection. I have hope for our garden.

Friday: You'd be a fool if you didn't believe I'd wear pigtails as soon as I could have them. 

Saturday: We went to Winter Jam and saw the end of David Crowder (my favorite) and a lot of Michael Tait (silly head).

 Sunday: After shaving Jason's head, I found a special note in a book I ordered off of amazon! How cool is that!?

Monday: You best know I got this coffee bean cupcake. Get ready Jennee's bridal shower, we're gettin our fill of cupcakes and icing!

Oh, just a day in the life.

This is my new favorite place to sit in our house.
Who cares? Probably no one, but finally becoming content with your own house is a huge accomplishment of mine.
I think I completely wear my husband out from my "ideas" and "sudden inspirations" to decorate and then re-decorate. Finding a spot where you can think of what else to do with your house read magazines and clip coupons is like doing yoga all day long! I have a "spot"... just like my mom has one: At the desk in our kitchen that is always (organizingly) cluttered with papers, her schedule and laptop and cell phone. I swear... this spot for her will never change.

Ross/TJ Maxx/ Marshalls HomeGoods (if we had one!!!) is my absolute FAVORITE place to get things! It might be the end of my spending history because everything is so cheap but I can't resist myself!

If this post isn't the ending reflection of a great day! Starting it off with devotions, a work out, seeing some great people at church, gettin a mani! (thanks hubster), Spicy Pickle, and home decor! Can I get a yoyoyoyoyoyoy?!

Failing at this 365 project + Snow

There are a few things I've learned from having 3 snowdays after a weekend:

Snowdays are just the absolute best when you're married. Honestly... being married + snowdays = the most romantic, laid back time together

My husband (I almost said "husbands" but then this statement might be false... I dunno, you tell me) will stay outside 10+ hours no matter the wind chill to finish his first igloo. Okay... maybe not ten, but close to it. 

It's absolutely okay to not get chores done during snowdays.

Oklahoma only has 4 snow plows so one snow day in Kansas = a week of snow days here. (Just another reason that Kansas (CITY) is better... much better... than Oklahoma.... :))

***Okay I really do love where I live, I just am proud of where I grew up, okay?!

Jason vs. Jordan

Dialog between a certain husband and wife:::

Wife opens the door to the fridge and realizes there is only one piece of her yummy cookie cake left.

Wife:: Someone had some cake yesterday huh?!

Husband:: YEAH I DID!! 

Wife opens the freezer to find some ice cream. 

Wife:: Where's the ice cream?!

Husband smiles and turns his head to the side in a look-how-cute-I-am way.

Wife:: Are you serious?!?! Ughhhh....

Husband:: AND... I put whipped cream and caramel sauce on it!!

Wife:: (no response)

Husband:: I am AWESOME!!

After sitting down to indulge in my amazing triple chocolate cookie cake, I  the Wife looks up and asks my her sweet husband to get her a glass of milk. 

Husband:: Ohhhhhhhh I drank all that too! (Laughs hysterically rolling on the floor)

Wife:: (seriously) Go to Homeland and get me some milk.

Husband:: No!! You're the one who's supposed to keep the fridge stocked!! I've cleaned all weekend!!
